Update on the Cat Urine

This long long holiday weekend, I with the help of Bob Beach got my wings painted with Imron. I used a Nason poly epoxy primer, with Imron over coat, and I owe it all to my neighbors cat. Without the cat urine pitting my alum skins, I would have put off building a paint booth in the garage and blasting paint through my borrowed Harbor Freight sprayer. Fun, fun fun. Bob said the wings are 40% of the paint job. The lower half of the plane and the wings will be Starmist White and the upper part a dark red. The Roberta Hegy type paint job, I only hope it will turn out that good.

So bottom line, I am grateful for the **** cat, he made me a better person.
(Slightly tongue in cheek). And I will put some kind of plastic visqueen barrier between my wing caddy and the floor, so Puss can not "mark" my wings again.
