Unreachable rivet hole: top of F-707

Hi guys,

I read in the manual last night that you're not supposed to rivet the F-707B clip to the F-707 bulkhead until later (see plans page 26, Detail C), since this obstructs access to a single rivet in the skin/bulkhead that sits above the clip.

Alas, this was already riveted with my QB kit.

Any suggestions for riveting that challenging skin rivet? Drill out the 2 AN470AD4 rivets holding the clip to the bulkhead or might there be another way to get the skin rivet in?

I think I'm going to compile a list of QB Factory suggestions since I've run into numerous issues like this.

Thanks!
Russ

That's one of the options I'm considering. I'd have to file/drill a notch in the F-707B clip to allow space for the cherry rivet.

Thanks!
Russ
