Saw on a video from the YouTube channel “Socialflight” an interview at the Uavionix booth that they are developing a VOR/ILS standalone receiver. Depending on cost, may be a low priced option for this function as a backup to GPS. There has been periodic discussion regarding the potential of intermittent degradation or spoofing of GPS signals. Not high on my list of worries, but the ”Just in case” side of me occasionally considers this.
