Trim Tab Horn - Why two of each

Trying to wrap up the elevators and I am working on the trim tab. There are two E-717 and E-718 and I can configure them so I do not need to cut either the E-717 or the E-718 that I need for my auto trim. I am assuming that is why Van's supply two of each, but I wanted to check with others here to make sure I am not missing something.

You're not thinking clearly about it guys. It's obvious why two each. When you mess up the first trim tab, you will already have a set for the next try.

Two trim options available

Are you asking about the two chioces in the emp kit for the elevator trim tab horns? If I'm reading your question right there are two because they differ in size and angle because one is used with the manual trim option and one for the electric trim option. Is that what your asking about?
