trim tab cables-leave in during disassembly??

Having just gone through the routing of the trim tab cables, I'd really like to not have to do it again.
Is is possible to leave the cables mounted in the HS and trim tab but disconnect the cables as the servo mount end? Reattach at front end only when doing final reassembly.

I'll have my HS off for the next two years or so and I'd love to go this route.

Probably not impossible, but certainly not easy, unless you have a couple extra elbow joints in each arm. Option would be to crawl into the tail cone.

It is actually pretty easy to install the trim cables, I described a method that works well in a thread about a month ago------ http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showthread.php?t=16118

Give it a try.
