trim indicator disco light

My ray allen (Vans supplied) trim indicator has become a disco light. The main led is on as normal but the rest dance in flight like the display on a digital stereo equalizer. My first guess is going to be loose wire but I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this.

All the time, or just when you transmit? (Remember that you transponder transmits a bunch...)

The dancing seems to be vibration related or RPM related. None or little on ground but all the time in flight.

Vibration induced electric gremlins are usually a loose connection of some kind.

This could be inside the indicator, or in the external wiring.
