Transponder or UAT antenna on inspection cover?

MS19087

I searched the archives and came up empty. Has anyone put a transponder antenna on an inspection cover. I'm out of real estate and need to find a location for my ADS-B UAT antenna. Needs to be at least 5 ft from existing xpndr antenna and 2.5ft from any comm antenna. The middle inspection cover may work . . . Thoughts?

Thanks!

I have the 2011 Navworx manual and I see reference to 5' from the Transponder antenna, but nothing about Comm antennas.

3.5.3.3.2 UAT Antenna The UAT Antenna MUST be installed no less than 5 feet from any Transponder /TCAS/TAS or DME antenna. Failure to adhere to this critical installation note will result in failure of the ADS600-B and void your warranty.

Is there newer information?

I spoke with navworx this week

And they told me about the 2.5 ft spacing with a comm ant.

Yup - good to know, I am days away from punching holes and installing my comm antennae up front on the belly, was planning on putting the UAT up there somewhere as well, now I need to drop back and punt.
