Hi all,
New guy with question regarding nose wheel tire preasure and main wheel tire preasure. What numbers (psi) are you guys using for nose wheel and mains.
Thanks
Pete

I put 45 lb in the main and about 40 in the nose gear. It makes it moving back to the hanger much easier and no sheemy in the main. The nose gear has more to do with the condition of the taxi way and my speed but generally very little.

Tire Pressures for RV's

Desser Tires has he following on their web site:

The Tire & Rim Association has published general operating pressures for an Unloaded tires in varying sizes and plies. For the RV series tires, these are:
?500-5 4 Ply - 31lbs psi
?500-5 6 Ply - 50lbs psi
?15/600-6 6 Ply - 68lbs psi
?11/400-5 8 Ply - 70lbs psi

Tire pressure

RV4: Used to run 30 psi in mains with just a slight shimmy (don't know which wheel) while slowing almost to taxi speed. Increased psi to 35 and shimmy went away.
