Tipup canopy hinge location

Would love some info from somebody with a tip up 7A. From the centerline of the panel, what are the measurements to the canopy hinges? Also what is clearance between the panel and the canopy hinge with the canopy closed?

Need this to make sure I am all right before I cut my panel. Thanks!

17.5" center to center on the hinges I think. I cannot verify right now however.

Not sure where you are in the build, but...


You may want to hold off on cutting the panel until you have at least the canopy sub frame completed if not the finishing kit with the welded canopy frame . There area a few gotchas in there and they may get in your way. That can include the desire to install the jettison release.


Having all the actual parts in front of you may really be helpful for planning.
