Tip-up canopy weatherstrip

OK, I have spent the better part of the day trying to figure out which weatherstripping goes where on the tip-up canopy. I hope to drill the latch lugs tomorrow and would like to have the weatherstrip in place on the side rails before I do. Can someone lead me to the information?

There was a thread recently on this subject; several people recommended an edge grommet from Mcmaster. Sadly, it was too big for my side rails (kept canopy open too far). I haven't spent much time looking for a better solution yet.

At any rate, I don't think you need the grommet in place to do the latches. The grommet or weatherstrip should fit the canopy, not vice versa.

I was under the mistaken impression that there was some weatherstripping to be placed along the side rails on the tip-up. Thanks for the response!
