tip up canopy skin gap

After fitting the Plexiglass to the tip up canopy frame and placing it on the aircraft there is a .165 gap on the left side at skin C602 and F671 and only a .070 gap on the right side.

Has any one come across this and what was the fix! Could the fix be cosmetic?

There is much much much detail on the tipup canopy in the archives. Most people that have one have found all of these issues. Some are easy to fix, others are not.

Take a look at the history and it will help...
