For those who have passed this way before me.
The plans call out flush blind rivets to attach the glare shield skin to the 3/8" tube on the canopy frame. If you countersink the glare shield for the flush blind rivet you will end up taking a lot of material out of the glare shield skin to get the rivet flush. However if you use the low profile blind rivet instead, no problems.
Just curious, for those with tip-up canopies which method did you use.
