Ok either Im the only guy who didnt know this or this info will help some of you with an agravating problem. You know the one. You have a QDC (quick disconnect) on an airline and it starts leaking when you have a tool plugged in or maybe just sitting there. A Old car mechanic who is closing up shop after 51 years told me that you can fix these stupid things. He showed me one and said yeh just unscrew the thing and flip the gasket/packing over and your good to go for a time and when the time comes you can get new gaskets(I dont know where yet) (probably a real hardware store not HD). Instead of spending another 3/4 bucks on some new fittings.
I dont know about you but I felt I learned something very handy from a really good ole mechanic. I wish him well in his retirement.
