Throttle quadrent

Is it normal to have to redrill holes in the fly boys throttle quadrent to get the proper range of motion?

RE-drill

I was looking at that very thing last night after I ran the push pulls for the throttle and mixture. There is NO way it's going to work with the holes where they come drilled.

Does the throttle arm on your carb/injector not have 3 holes?
I had to use the hole closest to the spindle to get proper range.

The issue is the travel at the throttle handle it self.
The cables from VANS have a 2 1/8” travel. That’s all you have to work with. The throttle, mixture, prop all travel 4” in the quadrant. In order for the levers to move those 4”, minus a 1/8” because I don’t want the handles to bottom out on the nice anodized plate, the hole will have to be drilled at 2.66” from the pivot point. Thanks to Dan K and Salamander for helping with the math!
