I fitted a forward facing tube system, and tapped the aft end of the 1-3 rail to get bleed supply numbers for the one-cycle measurements. The rails are still on the airplane. They equalize individual pairs (1-3 and 2-4), but until now I never considered tying them together.

RE Hardwired USB power suggestions?
…TASEsq
It wouldn’t be too hard to replace that part with one wide enough to fit a 60mm hole.
I was initially thinking just aft of the fuel selector, or between the spars but it won’t fit in either of those places.

RE RV-10--How did you secure your EarthX battery?
…dad jokes
I went with the 900-VNT in the 10. and made a small wood spacer to take up the extra space in the tray. Maybe the VNT is overkill, but now I don't worry about it. and the cranking power is excellent.

Rain damage to paint on prop blades
Does this look like a reasonable amount of paint damage for a 100h Hartzel CS prop after one flight in rain (and not really hard rain)... Both sides are similar, both blades as well. Thoughts?

Cable clamps with a twist?
I’ve google the heck out of this and can’t find any. I need cable clamps that have a 90 degree twist in them, specifically for lightening holes so the cable can go straight through them. Any ideas? FYI I tried making my own out of strips of aluminum but the strips kept cracking due to the...

GAMI Nozzle For Lycoming
In a previous thread, Reflex posted about excessive fuel staining around the base of his GAMI-supplied nozzles. I asked if the "A" was facing down, a standard installation step, and the response was that the rep at GAMI said it was no longer required. Yeah, that made me curious...

Hardwired USB power suggestions?
My panel currently has a 12V "cigar lighter" socket, in which I've been using a plug-in USB adapter to charge my phone. Since the old-school socket is pretty much obsolete these days, I'd like to change this out for a dedicated, hardwired USB receptacle. I'd ideally like to find one that fits in...

I have quite some time before my C.I. is due, but at that point my Concorde RG-25XC will be 4 years old. It's still performing OK, but even though my engine is not electrically-dependent (E_mags), it has a glass panel, supported by a single battery and 2 alternators (PP primary :(, B&C standby...

Get the cap all the cool kids are wearing! I don’t get a penny. It’s around $15. $5 more if you want your N-number on the back (I put 'STAFF' on the back of mine because it makes me laugh. Put STAFF on yours too if it makes you smile). And down the road $10 to the charity of your choice...
