Week number two of my oil change… Making progress. In my defense, I spent an hour or so just looking for loose screws other than the ones in my head. Danny ‘Beautiful Doll RV-8’ King stopped by for a visit.
Unrelated, cell phone service was out around our airport Tuesday morning (lightning the previous evening is the working theory). I keep a Starlink antenna in the trunk. Back in business in 60 seconds

Speaking of amazing tech, this screengrab from a recent load the bags and raise-the-gear but don’t touch anything else King Air hop side gig. What you can have in front of you on a phone…..the 1996 version of me just would not believe. In a lot of ways my phone is more capable than the Pro Line 21 equipped King Air.
I was planning on continuing the oil change Wednesday, but got a text Tue afternoon from the sim saying a couple clients busted check ride dress rehearsals, necessitating splitting their training up, putting them in need of a meat servo posthaste. $20/hr (before taxes) for MSD (meat servo duty). Pays for RV oil LOL.

Both Grandkids got the RV Grin
Grandkids 10 & 6 are here for a week and they both have been waiting to fly in the plane. The 10 year old had flown 2 time and the 6 year old only taxiing around. Both videos are short 2 min videos. The had a blast to fly but also flying for breakfast.
