Chasing "heavy wing" (Was "N612EF: First flight report")
N612EF had its first flight this morning. Because KSGS doesn't allow experimentals in Phase I to return, DAR Tony Kirk gave me a corridor down the Mississippi to near Red Wing, at which point I could turn north into the test area and then, finally, head for Lake Elmo (21D) where it will be based...

Rv 10 elevator tank sealant question
I am soon to complete getting my skins on the rear spar for my elevators. It seems the next step is to apply the fuel sealant, but part of the skins are not attached yet because of the need to put on the hinge for the elevator trim I’m puzzled by putting tank sealant along this edge at this...

Clickbond nutplates: any advice?
I have to install a couple nutplates in a very difficult to reach location inside my fiberglass wingtip for my new navlights, a friend suggested I use these. Anyone have any experience with them? TIA
