What did you do with your RV this weekend? (4/13-14/2024)
Routing of harnesses and antennae through center console
Headset Wire Insulation
Is there any way to fix this crack in wire insulation? The headset was refurbished two years ago by the factory and works great.

Oil Line Interference …AN23 PIREP
I just had Tom at T&S flightlines make me a flexible hose. MUCH better solution in that it can be easily adjusted so it doesn't touch anything and the firesleeve supplies some abrasion protection if, by chance, it does. My old stainless one had a notch, on the backside) where it had been touching. No way to see it until we removed it for engine work.

Yikes, Bee Swarm at SNF
Upon returning to HBC from War Birds, a swarm of bees surrounded me as I approached my plane which was parked next to James Clark's RV6.
Fifteen minutes later, the swarm had decided to settle on James wingtip. Being a new beekeeper, I was fascinated by the event. A local beekeeper was called to capture the swarm by locating & moving the queen into the swarm box. The queen is noticeably larger & within seconds, she was captured & relocated to the box. The other bees began to follow along. It was suspected the bees swarmed due to the airshow, especially when the Thunderbirds were flying & the bees may have mistaken it for a thunderstorm & looking to protect the queen.

Routing of harnesses and antennae through center console
I'm new to the forum, and am wiring my RV14A. I have full IFR avionics through Advanced Flight Systems. I haven't been able find detailed guidance on routing and securing the bundles through the console. I see there's a "Forward Tunnel Cover" but that would seem to block the routing of all...

Rudder pedal Paint
Tried searching and went down a rabbit hole. What did you all use to paint the rudder pedals? Rattle can? Enamels? Solely Primer? Just thinking a grey or white that is scuff resistant. Thanks in advance.
