I am about to complete my private pilot license and have been seriously considering building an RV. Given the type of flying I'm interested in pursuing, the options seem to be narrowed down to an RV-7 or an RV-14. I've been reading about both quite a bit online, but at this point I just need to fly both and see what feels just right for me.
Does anyone know of any place in southern California that I can try each aircraft out? My other option would be to go out to Oregon to the factory, but that's a bit harder right now because I have a newborn daughter at home. Plus from what I've read the demo flight at the factory are only about 20 minutes and I'd like to at least fly each for about an hour to get more familiar with them.
