Targa Strip attachment

I'm seeking folks with flight time who have directly bonded a targa strip to the plexi using glass and resin.....and those who have used sikaflex. I'm trying to decide between the two. My canopy is already sikaflexed in place so I plan to avoid drilling any mechanical fasteners because I cannot debur between the aluminum overhead channel and plexiglass. Furthermore, I need a targa strip to cover a cracked corner in the plexiglass.

I bonded directly and also embedded some of the screws that go thru the aft rollbar into the targa. I also put a few rivets in the corners where the targa smerged with the side skirts I also added.

I did mine out of .032" 2024-T3.
