tank access plates

Has anyone had any experience of undoing the tank access plates once they have been proseealed? can it be done and if it can, what is the best way?

Yep, a lot of us have. My required tools were a putty knife and two phenolic scrapers.

It is a non-metal scraper that won't damage the pieces it is used on.

You've spent all that time deburring parts, you don't want to put a big gouge in the tank rib with a metal scraper or putty knife.

I got a Stainless steel Rule

about 1inch wide and sharpened the end on the grinder/scotchbrite wheel.

Perfect tool for the job. I didn't use any other tools.
