I did a search and didn't see this asked before. I'm installing a Superior cylinder kit on an 0320. What indicates the "front" of the Superior Piston?

There is no front.
Up and down part of the piston is the same.
The piston will connect / line up with the connecting rod two different ways. Both ways are correct.

I agree with Gary. I called Bill Ross with Superior to ask about piston orientation when I OH my Lyc Superior O-360 clone. Short answer- Bill said it didn’t matter.
Thanks Tim (and Gary) I was just trying to follow the manual precisely so it's great to get confirm that there is no "front" on the Superior pistons.
I remember back in Lycoming school someone cited a reference (somewhere that indicated a “front” and “back” to the piston, and the instructor’s answer was basically that for the OCD among us, look at the stampings and make them al the same (like screw slots on a light switch plate) … but that it didn’t matter which orientation you chose.

Interesting, so that basically means there is no wrist-pin offset on Lycomings.
