Still Building But Taking a Little Detour

Well I am finished with the wings and empennage and have the fuselage on order and should have it here the 7th of November. I just got the itch to fly more and renting as much time as I want to fly was just not going to work. I found a used Gobosh 700 with only 93 hours on it. The plane is just like new. I flew out to Kansas City last weekend to pick her up and fly her home.

I learned on the Gobosh and love that plane. In the meantime I will have built up a lot more hours before I finish the -12. Now the toughest part is fitting 1.5 planes in the hangar.

I hope to get my flaperons done this weekend perhaps. Also hoping to put some hours on the Gobosh too

There is an RV-12 on the salvage list. Aborted take-off shortly after rotation.

Cannot say it enough, FLY the AIRPLANE no matter what happens during takeoff!!!

Wow thats sad to see, tail number is N522CR based out of Fort Walton Beach. Anybody see any NTSB reports on what happen to this poor girl.
Says this on the bottom of the page.
Aircraft aborted takeoff shortly after rotation however experienced a hard landing.

Did you notice the hole cut in the cowl duct near the pilots side exh. pipe?
