Stick Length

What have builders used for the length of the stick from the bolt at the bottom (pivot point) to the top of the grip? I do not want the grip to hit the throttle or mixture but do not want to increase required force due to a short stick.

You may want to wait until you can actually sit in the seat with whatever cushion you will have and be sure that the stick length is comfortable in the flying mode.

You might want to wait until the ailerons & elevators are mounted because the stops on these control surfaces will determine how far your sticks will move. You should find that they will not reach the throttle/mixture control area.
