Static Wicks

Have folks been using static wicks for the RV-10? If so which ones and where and how many did you mount?

I got 10 on my RV10. I got Spruce' # 11-04154. Two on the aelerons, two on the elevators, two on the rudders. I put them about 6 inches from each end. I also bonded the control surfaces to the airframe with wire braid.

Not sure where I found a drawing from Dayton Granger showing where to place them, but I liked the detail. Unfortunately I do not have permission to add attachments(probably not enough posts), so I will try sending it by email. EDIT - Sent PM
I am a long ways from having a flying RV10, so I cannot answer as to how effective this placement is.
