Static Port installation

I'm getting close to being ready to final assemble the tailcone. Should I go ahead and proseal in my safe air static port? Seems like it would be better now than waiting until the tailcone is all riveted up, or is there a reason I should wait.

No reason not to do it now, but also not hard to do it later. I would do it before riveting the tail cone to the fuselage. I recommend back riveting the entire tailcone. You can do everything except about 6 rivets at the extreme aft end, where there is not enough room to get a gun inside.

Wish I had looked here before riveting the tailcone!

On the brighter side, my riveting technique is much, much better now...
