Stall warner adjustment

My stall warning horn was fine for two years, then I think it got bumped in the hangar (shared with 2 other airplanes). Now it ground checks fine but will not actuate in flight. If I read the PAP right, it says "if the warning sounds too near the stall, adjust the tab down" which seems to be counter-intuitive. I've bent it down until it's on full time on the ground and am slowing working back up, but still now stall warning as low as 35 kts IAS. Thoughts or suggestions? Or is it that I just can't read the PAP right?

Thanks

PS-- the vertical piece of P-seal behind the strut seems to stop the air leak just fine without being slit to open up. THANKS!!

Thanks, Joe

Just a minor gripe about something that's not really needed but I had the darn thing right for 2 years! I'll keep bending--- UP!
