Spacing between G3X screens?

It looks like most people fit the 2 screens of the G3X pretty snug, what is the spacing you chose between the screens? I can't decide between 1/4-3/8-1/2inch between the bezels on the panel face.

Mine are 1/16" apart. You can have them touching if you want.

Being 1/16 apart, no issues punching buttons in turbulence or fingerprinting the other screen?
