Snorkel to Servo Bolt Torque

Howdy Everyone. I can't seem to locate the torque requirement for the fiberglass intake snorkel to fuel servo bolts. Did I miss that detail or should I use the 1/4" standard of 90-110 in./lbs.?

I just used the standard torque for the given size bolt.

My bolts were also safety-wired together, preventing loosening.

Hi Mike,

Remember torque values are utilized for fastening metal parts not fiberglass. Therefore some common sense must be applied. Torque to a value that still creates a seal but doesn’t crush the fiberglass flange.

Side note. I use split lock washers for this application.
