Small Repairs with Jet-Glo

A question for you paint experts out there who are familiar with Jet-Glo and Acry-Glo I have 2 year old Jet-Glo White with and Acry-Glo Yellow on my RV-6 and want to repair some small areas. I have heard that Polyeurothane paint does not stick well to itself once sanded and should be sanded all the way down and re-primed. I've also had a professional aircraft painter familiar with Jet-Glo tell me that it can be sanded lightly and sprayed over.

Who is right? Is this different for Jet-Glo and Acry-Glo?

Jet Glow can be repaired.

But, It takes some skill to make it look right. Sherwin even sells a blender or Vinyl thinner to burn in the edges of the repair. I think the part number is 110-510.

Jet-Glo sticks to itself very well. It's not as easy to spot repair as car paint but it is certainly possible.
