Slider windshield

Time to admit my mistake for the day (so far) and see what you think.

I match drilled the windshield to the roll-bar this morning at 2" spacing rather than the 4" spacing called for in the plans. I'm not overly concerned about weakening the plexi since everywhere else on the canopy the prescribed spacing is 2".

My plan is to just use every other hole (after deburring all plexi holes real well to prevent cracks) - everything will be covered so you'll never see it.

Any thoughts, should I go ahead and use all the holes now that they are there?

This canopy work is killing me

I would go ahead and use then all, drilling and tapping the roll bar is not hard to do.

Thanks Charles, you're probably right. I guess there's no good reason not to use them all at this point.

we are building 5 rvs here and one of the guys did the same thing. use the holes, he did , no problem so far
