Slider unique hardware

In tidying up my parts box I have come across a bag (1980-1) labeled "slider unique hardware", it contains -8 platenuts and stainless screws. As I have finished the canopy etc I cannot figure out what these are for or where they would go and I cannot find them on the slider related drawings.
Can any slider builders give me a clue?

Found answer

Finally called Van's for the answer to my question, the 1980-1 bag is unique to slider but the screws actually have nothing to do with the canopy, they are AN526C832R8 and the associated nutplates to mount the panel which is different between the slider and tipup

Just a FYI for other slider builders

what is the angle for?

This is an old thread, but I found the same thing. Bag 1980-1 in the fuselage kit is called "Slider Unique Hardware". It has screws and nutplates as described above, but it also has a 2 inch long piece of angle AA3-032-3/4x3/4x2.

Does anyone know what this little piece of angle is for?
