What's the guess on dual displays with the Skyview... Maybe a 10 & a 7 inch?? Not much output with alternator on the Rotax... Will the cowl have to be modified to accomadate the 40 amp add-on alt??

Dont know! 18amps, Yes the cowl will have to be modified for Alternator in a big way. We will probably know at OSH in late July.:eek:
 
SkyView power requirements

SkyView system with no backup battery 3.5 amps at 12vcd.
SkyView system with backup battery during battery charging +1.5 amps additional.
The Rotax alternator is capable of putting out about 18 amps, more or less depending on ambient temperature.
The voltage regulator needs cooling if operated at higher current output.
