Skin overlap

?? How critical is the scarfing of the top and bottom skins at the overlap? I am not worried about the overlap so much, I am scarfing for a low profile where the overlap is behind the tank, top and bottom. What did you do?

Working on wings, QB fuse staring at me.

The scarfing is not critical at all, from a structural point of view. It is mostly an asthetics issue. I chose to do a little, just to get things to lay right and called it quits. Based on your referance to the tank, I am assuming you are are talking about the wing skins....

Thanks, Larry. I am not so worried about the looks. I do not like scarfing very much in this area. I am talking about the wing skins. I will have a larger lip sticking up if I do not scarf much here, but I do not think this is a big issue. Just wondered if anyone else felt the same. Thanks Dennis
