What are the steps I go though and contacts necessary to obtain Sirius XM into my G3X touch screen?

Find your unit's ID number. Should be on the SXM page. Then call them.

Are you talking about radio or WX? In the G-1000/900X system with the GDL 69 there are 2 ID numbers: One for the radio and one for weather.

Hello Dennis - Step by step instructions for activating the SiriusXM subscription for the receiver in your GDU 4x5 display can be found in section 34.6 of the current G3X installation manual (rev AB).
