Sikaflex ?

Am considering going down the Sikaflex route, anyone done a sbs slider, will 2 glue, 1 cleaner, 1 primer be enough, also what about suppliers on the West Coast.

Sikaflex -4

Stephen - I have just finished a -4 canopy with Sikaflex. For that the quantities you say were just enough though if I did it again I would use less. If I had used it on the -9A I built I would have used less, but order as you said. I got mine from Jamestown.

For my experience see here. It is spread over dates from April to yesterday.

Using Sikaflex

My buddy and I used Sikaflex for both the RV-8 Canopy, skirts, and the forward baggage door. It was wondeful.

Instead of bucking rivets from underneath the forward baggage door for final assembly of the door we used Sikaflex and the door turned out perfect.
