Sika "V" Cut In Applicator

Getting ready to glue the canopy on but can't find the info on how wide and deep to cut the V in the applicator nozzle.

Anyone care to share how big to cut?

Mine was about large enough to make a 3/16" tall bead. You need to be able to get a fair amount of it out to provide about a 1/8" layer between pieces. It's not very precise work. I tended to not have enough rather than too much, I had one applicator left to a finer point that I filled gaps in from the side with.

The Soapy water trick

Make sure to put a little dawn dishwasher liquid or similar in bowl of water and use to smooth out the bead...works well
