There is a gap between the firewall side stiffener and the firewall side flange. How the does the side skin fit at that point? Rv6a Thanks

If you’re talking about the upper left corner, for some reason, this is very common. You see it on most 6’s.
Judicious use of shim stock and you probably can fair that in and make it better.
