Securing a Bogi-bar in a RV-8

29” collapsed. Too long.

A lot of work but maybe create a rectangle tube down one side of your rear baggage compartment, just below the shelf

You don’t really need it if yours is a tail wheel ( looks like it in the picture) . Tail wheel RVs are very easy to push backwards from in front of the horizontal stabilizer, and pull forward by the prop .
Nose wheel version your gonna need it.
