Section 45-03 Step 1: When to rivet open holes?

RVators,

Section 45-03 Step 1: "There are several holes in the fuselage that were deliberately left open to facilitate gluing the door outer to inner...bla bla bla"

OK my door fitting are done but I do not see when to rivet these holes closed. Did I miss it, or does it come later in the plans.

If it is NOT in the plans I guess you countersink cut them and fit the appropiate rivet in them, simiar to its neighbour rivets?

Thanks in advance
Rudi

That's what I did - didn't even bother to look for the instructions. It's pretty obvious you're done with the holes.

Filling the holes

Silly me, I didn't rivet the holes until I had run the wiring. Don't procrastinate like me. What a pain getting a bucking bar back there. I am finishing my cowl and plenum, then off to the airport. I have to see any value to keeping the holes open. If your doors are done fill those holes.
