On page 29-03, figure 4, you will see two brackets F-1202K, left and right. The picture shows a couple of slots adjacent to the two holes in the flange. These holes are for snap bushings, as depicted on the following page. The problem is, my parts did not come with those slots cut in them, just the holes. I just got off the phone with VANS, and they did confirm that the slots should be cut in the parts- an operation that, obviously, would be much easier before you install them. By the way, the slots are for wiring, to be installed with the finish kit, just as I suspected. Steve
