I JUST RIVETED THE CONTROL COLUMN MOUNT ASSEMBLY TOGETHER.

DOES THE SHOP HEAD NEED TO BE COMPLETELY FLUSH?I ASSUME THAT IS WHAT THEY MEAN BY DOUBLE-FLUSH?

HAVING TROUBLE SQUEEZING ?OR DO I SHAVE ANY EXPOSED ABOVE THE COUNTERSINK?

ANYONE GOT AN ANSWER?

Good question. Yes, double flush means flush on both sides. Just squeeze it until it's pretty close to flush. You can flush it more later if there is interference.

Hi Geico,

get it as flush as possible but it does not need to be absolute, you are going to space the control column out by one or two washers each side, so the washers will give you some clearance. Look ahead one or two pages and you'll see what I mean. I am there now.
