Secondary Battery Location

As electrical planning continues I am looking at battery locations. It looks like several of you are using the 925 as the primary and a PC680 as the secondary battery.

Where are people locating the PC680? Custom shelf in the tailcone near the 925, somewhere behind the panel or?

I put both of my PC680's side by side in the per plans location. Works out very well for my plane's CG.

I modified the plan location to accommodate dual batteries.

That is what most people do, modify the stock battery tray to hold 2 batteries. You could put one firewall forward, but there's not much space there. Behind the panel could work too, but that's already pretty tight as well. In the back is my recommendation.
