Seat pans installed required for flight?

Do I need to have the passenger seat pan installed for flight? Just wondering if this is considered structural (like the rear baggage panels).
My COM antenna is down under the passenger side seat pan and I have had it in and out for troubleshooting. It would be nice to be able to access the connection during flight.

Seatpans installed definitely add to the crash worthiness of the structure.

Seat pans make a huge difference in the stiffness of the center fuselage.
