Seat Mod

Flew a Grumman Tiger yesterday and it had a neat seat cushion that you lifted up to step into the cockpit and then folded it down to sit down. the back of the seat cushion has straps to keep it securely in place.

On my -7 the bottom cushion is velcroed in place and you step on the cushions getting in and out which after time dirties up the seats.

Wondering if anyone done a mod similar to the tiger on their RV?

As an aside the tiger was a nice flying aircraft

Fig, I have been flying a Tiger also, slow compared to a RV. I can lift the cushion in my RV, but I don't because it's to hard to get it back down. Judie and I use towels to step on and then move the towel before we sit. More room to put cushion down in the Grumman and they are thinner in the Grumman. As you get older it's harder to suspend yourself while you put the cushion down.
