scotchbright big time saver

I have found a scotchbright belt to put on a hand held belt sander from MSC Industrial supply co. I had been hand filing the edges of the skins to remove roughness and now using the sander I am able to get it done in a tenth of the time. I clamp the skins on my work table with +- 1 inch overhang and keeping the sander flat to the edge, the edge maintains a straight edge. Be sure to reverse sander when you get to the end so it doesn't grab the point.

which one

The one that I got is the non-woven 194. Does a great job. Had to trim the back of my sander as the belt is rather thick.
