S701-1 grounding

B&C S701-1 relay grounding

I bought a B&C S701-1 relay to use as my master relay (single alternator system)

I comes with rubber hermetically applied to the legs (the rubber isn't a loosely attached boot that can be slid off).

However their detailed photo doesn't show the rubber on the legs.

How is that grounded? I'm a little confused.

Any input appreciated.

The coil gets power through the jumper to the large stud. The other side of the coil is grounded to activate the contactor. There is no ground of the unit necessary.

Starter contactors work just the opposite - the coil is grounded through the case and you apply power to activate it.
