RV7 straight (not batwing) trailing edge W-715 wingtips

The builder went DAY VFR only with this build. He didn’t even install any hights, and he riveted these on. I will be installing the aeroleds vxi.

If anyone is interested in a cheap set of wingtips lmk. I will entertain any offer.

I had one RV come in and the owner wanted lights installed, one look at the tips that were riveted on with cherry max and I told him to take it somewhere else!

Yeah, I did all the hard work. Each rivet was hiding under a thin layer of Bondo.

I used a high speed grinder to expose the rivet and then dealt with each.

I’m going to have to do some surface prep when I go to install and paint the new wingtips. The fiberglass is in pretty good shape.
