RV12iS fuel pump 2 offline

Normal startup yesterday afternoon, but when turned on fuel pump 2 light didn't come on. Turned off pump 1 to verify 2 not working. Cycled number 1 & 2 a couple of times and then 2 came back online. Could not repeat 2 being offline again. Both pumps were working at the conclusion of previous days flight as I verified prior to shutdown. Didn't fly & rolled plane back into hanger to resolve issue.

I haven't completed SB-58 HIC module replacement yet & wondered if this was possible issue?

Yes that is most likely the issue. I had the same problem and SB 58 took care of it.

You may want to do SL 00072 at the same time or at least have the part handy.
 
I was planning to wait until conditional to comply with SB58, but that is no longer an option. I've just recently acquired this plane, but know the parts for this SB have been on back order for a while. I was going to contact Vans to see if they had an updated timeline, but wanted to see if anyone else had already been down this road and had any info on availability?
