RV-9A weight

I'm considering building 9A with O320 and F/P prop - for anyone with similar configuration - what's the weight on the nosewheel.
For comparison, my 6A with O360 and Hartzell C/S prop weighed 319lbs on the nosewheel.
Thank you.

Last RV-9A I weighed had an O-320, Sensenich metal prop, and here were the weights:

266 lbs on the nosewheel, 34.50" arm
408 & 418 lbs on the mains, 91.88" arms both

(forgot to mention, it was painted, single stage)

Here's data from my RV-9A (no wheel pants or fairings installed). O-320, Sensenich prop.

Nose 267 lbs 34.25" aft of datum 9,144.75 in-lbs moment arm
Right 411.00 90.94 37,375.31
Left 407.00 90.88 36,986.13

Add 13 lbs for the fairings and wheel pants (including lead weight in wheel pant nose cones).

N2PZ RV-9A Weight & Balance

After painting, with all the interior installed, and five quarts of oil, the empty weight of my airplane came to 1,184 pounds.

Nose wheel = 310 pounds
Left wheel = 432 pounds
Right wheel = 442 pounds

O-320-D1A with carb
Hartzell Constant speed prop
The Odyssey battery and a car stereo are on the right side. My autopilot servo is out in the left wing just outside of the aileron bellcrank.

Filled with fuel = 1,400 pounds. Look at this page when the final weight and balance was performed with "accurate" scales. http://www.n2prise.org/rv9a165.htm

John,
I know you wanted weights with a F/P prop but this information might give some comparision data.
I recently weighed my 9A and I am still having fun playing around with the figures: 0-320 RV-9A weighed on accurate calibrated scales. Including oil, Hartzell C/S, paint/trim, all fairings, Flightline interior and full epoxy prime internally. Only thing to add is the ELT, which I will install in the tail.
Weight 1097 lb.
Weight on nose wheel 288 lb.

Assuming an ELT in the tail and with me as the pilot (167 lb):
Most fwd CG ? full fuel, no passenger or baggage gives a CG 10% aft of the fwd limit and a calculated weight on the nose wheel of 339 lb.
Most aft CG situation I can envisage ? 5 gals fuel, 265 lb passenger and 100 lb baggage gives a CG 83% aft of the fwd limit and a calculated weight on the nose wheel of 233 lb.

Fin 9A Australia (I hope you good USA folk appreciate my efforts to convert from our kgs into your antiquated lbs!!)
